Overview
New York on Tap listed this bar without a review.
History
Up every night until four in the morning
We listed it as Terraza Café Art, but Freddy Castiblanco had opened it as Terraza 7 in 2002, and it became a Gleane Street room for local art, meetups and live music1.
In March 2025 Castiblanco said he faced eviction, and that the rent had gone from $7,500 a month at the end of the pandemic to $12,0002.
It's still there: the official site has it open every day, from four in the afternoon to four in the morning, at 40-19 Gleane Street3. The day we checked, the schedule had Xianix Barrera & Nueva York Flamenco City down for a first set of flamenco3.
