History
A century and change on Northern Boulevard
The awning said the Little Neck Inn opened in 1908, and it was still going in August 2011, when it stayed open through Hurricane Irene1. It's remembered for free turkey sandwiches with all the fixings, stuffing and cranberry sauce included, and as the place to go after the Memorial Day Parade1. It closed in the early 2010s, and by 2021 the Good Company Tavern was the only bar left on Northern Boulevard east of Alley Pond Park1. A restaurant directory lists LN1380, a Chinese and seafood restaurant, at 251-03 Northern Blvd.2.
