By 2020 the Irish Rover had been an Irish pub in Astoria for over 20 years, with enough TVs to show Premier League games and American football at the same time if necessary¹. That year it was pouring cheap drinks and hosting a local darts league on its two boards¹, which is one way to spend the better part of a weekend.
