Overview

17 pool tables, 4 bowling lanes, karaoke and a myriad of board games provide a host of new opportunities to embrass yourself when your drunk.
Giant former pool hall turned nightlife multi-plex features 17 pool tables, 4 bowling, lanes, karaoke, board games, a lounge, a bar and a dance floor. The crowd's fun, the drinks are cheap, but all of this is almost totally undermined by a DJ that happily follows up Like a Virgin with Eye of the Tiger. If you can handle that (maybe even revel in it) there's a good time to be had.

Why you should go

  • From the patrons, to the hostess, to the bouncer, this is one of the friendliest "nightclubs" you're likely find.
  • $5 beers, $5-7 bowling, and $14 pool tables
  • Glow in the dark bowling pins

What you should know

  • Thursday night ladies drink for free from 10-1am
  • Hunkamania is the first Thursday of every month

History

From bowling lanes to beginner classes

Our old review counted seventeen pool tables, four bowling lanes, karaoke and a myriad of board games: plenty of ways to embarrass yourself after a few drinks. A community-board record still listed Play in Elmhurst in April 20111. 77-17 Queens Boulevard is now home to Commonpoint's Jack and Shirley Silver Hub2. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings it holds beginner classes in person2.
